Publications

One of HUMANE's first publications was a database of contact numbers for all heads of administration, together with a very brief description of the HE system in each country of the network. This is updated annually. We are also working on a database of interests, so that members can more easily make contact with colleagues who are interested in the same areas of work - and of course, our experience of seminars means that the Secretariat has a good knowledge of particular expertise.

The working language of the network is English. We therefore publish a guide to the language of higher education for the benefit of those attending seminars.

As part of our funding under the TNP initiative we prepared an initial report (Managing to Learn: 1999) for the European Commission on the major issues which administrators need to consider across Europe. This scene-setting report was then extended by several reports in 2000 and 2001:
